Million Dollars $1,000,000

Everyone seems to think in the magic number of $1,000,000.  If I only had a million dollars, I would be RICH!!!  Maybe, maybe not.

Let's take a hypothetical approach to this idea.

Say that the government takes an action today that makes it happen that in the morning everyone in America wakes up and they have a $1,000,000 - no more and no less? After tax dollars.  Maybe the lottery.  The government takes away from the rich and give to the poor.  Even Warren Buffet only has a million dollars.

What will people do if they all have a $1,000,000?  Go to work, buy a house, go on vacation or ????????  What would you do?

Remember, everyone is equal in the money department!  Would you quit your job? Would you put your money in the bank, stock market or ???????

Now move down the road in time say 6 months or a year, what would our world be like?

Who would be working when you went to the bank to make your deposit?

Who is going into the sanitation department to handle the sewer and water, the garbage department, parks and rec department, sales clerk, shoe shines, fast food outlets, grocery store stocking, hospital staff, gas delivery, convenience store clerks, street maintenance, and the list goes on?

My prediction is that in 1 year, Warren Buffet will have more money than he does now!

Economics suck.
