Getting Started!

Ready Aim ...........

I have been in the real estate business since 1974. Man, that sounds like I must be old! Well, I sorta am. In all of those years, the one thing that sticks out in my mind is the number of people that really want to invest in real estate but just can't pull the trigger (fire). In Viet Nam, that was the hardest thing to get a new soldier to do was pull the trigger for the first time. All of the training in the world will not get some people to fire. Ready Aim ..........

I have some investors (?) that have come to me and wanted to find some investment property. Now bear in mind, these were not those that want fix and flip, they were buy and hold investors. They had gone to different seminars, subscribed to mentoring plans, watched numerous videos and no matter what I showed them, they were sure they could smell mold or they would only offer half what the listed price was - bottom line, they weren't going to pull the trigger. After spending 1,000s of dollars and a lot of time, they still had not purchased a house or investment property.

Many of the best and most successful investors have not spent a dime on seminars, books or tapes, instead they went out and bought an investment property. Did they make mistakes? Almost everyone of them. Do I make mistakes? Absolutely! But we have pulled the trigger and made it work. Do we always hit the target? No, but we hit it more often than not.

Ready Aim Fire!!! Right on target.
