Return to Sender. Unable to Forward
I finally went through my mail from my PO Box this morning and I had about 66 postcards returned undeliverable with no forwarding address. 66 out of 1000 isn't too bad. I'm going to lookup the names on my spreadsheet from the list I bought from yellowletters, find the address of the house they own and then see if there's a new address associated with the house on the county appraisal district website. If so, then I'll update my mailing list and if not, I'll remove them from my monthly mailer. I don't want to waste a card and stamp if there's no way to get the card into their hand. Oh! I also got to remove the owner of the house I bought yesterday. That was a good feeling.
My sleep schedule is screwed up I woke up at 3am and went through my mail. I writing this blog post now and then I'll start updating my mailing list, work on labeling the second half of my mailers I never got out and then get ready for work. Even on my time off I'm getting sent on a local project. I guess I can't complain too much. I'm working during the lowest oil prices in decades and I need the money to pay for this rehab I should be starting soon.
Before bed last night I sent an email to the Webster (3/2) home owner to let him know that if he gets the key situation sorted out with the house, that I'll be in town for another week and I am still interested in seeing the house. My wife and I drove by it and it's a great neighborhood and the house is in decent shape. I know that he owes nothing on the place, so I'm hoping he will sell it at a discount. Depending on what his situation it, this might be a good owner financed deal. I'm hoping to hear back from him today.

Why not skip trace the owners instead of removing them completely?

Hey Reginald. I used yellow letters.com and bought an absentee owner list of 2000 names. My criteria was 30-100% equity in certain zip codes I was interested in.
