Today I get the awesome opportunity to hang out with an investor that’s been in real estate since the 1980’s. Daniel Borrero and his brother buy, sell and rent real estate in one of the most competitive cities in the country, New York City. Daniel going to show us some building he owns and take us inside a renovation in one of his rental properties. He’s also going to share with us some of the unique challenges of investing inside the city. Daniel further will explain how he uses mixed use buildings, that’s commercial downstairs and residential upstairs. Last he’ll show us a simple profit center that brings in an extra $450 per month by renting out parking garages. If you’ve never experienced parking in the city, it can be very expensive. Daniel simply owns a small parking space that he rents out by the year. Talk about genius!!!!
