151 Reasons to thank a guru

Do you remember Carton Sheets?  I sure do, for 151 reasons.  I bought one if his "classes" back around 2004/2005 for $150.  That was a ton on money to me at the time; the difference between eating Top Ramen or pizza for 2 weeks.  Pizza may not be food for the gods but it's a helluva lot better than dried noodles.  I never employed any of the "advice" as I quickly discovered the program for what it was.  As much disdain most of us share for the "guru's" of RE investing I must give credit where its due.  I could tell that under all the BS being spewed from those CD's, there was ONE little nugget of truth, one little gem of honesty, one sliver of inspiration, there is money in RE investing and I can get some of it!

For the lost $150 and the 1 nugget of honesty, thank you late night TV guru!  I will never forget you.  RIP

I guess the point is, be open minded to all possibilities, even if you accidentally step on a turd, maybe it will change your life.
