Seeking Focus
After listening to several BP podcasts, I bought a few real estate books that were recommended by some of the guests. The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller is the first one I've started reading.
However, being a home-based manufacturing/e-commerce business owner, and taking care of our three small children, time is hard to come by. For this reason, and being a very slow reader, I realized that I need to invest in the audio version, and it even made sense at the $40 price Audible.com was charging. Had I known about Audible's $15/month membership that includes one credit for any book per month and 2 credits up front, I would have started investing in my audio book collection a long time ago.
So, long story short, instead of continuing to avoid audio books because of the relatively high price compared to the paperback versions, I dove in and ended up getting The Millionaire Real Estate Investor and The One Thing for FREE.
As per my last post, I was supposed to write a business plan the next day. I have yet to do that. The more information I absorb, the less focused I become. From what I am told, The One Thing will help me focus. I sure hope it does.
Regardless of this lack of focus and no clear path, I have been absorbing hours of real estate information every day since (re)joining Bigger Pockets. Some of which is over my head. Some of which goes in one ear and out the other. But, some of which sticks, whether I'm aware of it or not.
I look forward to the day that it all makes sense enough for me to have the confidence to take real action on my real estate investing journey.
