Wholesalers. Is it worth the Time?

Hi,

Call me naive or even ignorant. But my experience with Wholesalers in Las Vegas has been far from positive. I have been flipping for the past several years, and have been over time approached by numerous wholesalers. My experience has been as follows;

  1. Most Wholesalers are Newbies and are would be investors looking to make quick cash, in order to build a stake to run their own projects. As a result, they are not knowledgeable. And really don't bring anything of value to the table.
  2. I run the numbers based on the properties they think are great deals and they just don't pencil.
  3. If I do come across a prospective property, which might be worth pursuing, I can never reach them and they are not responsive in a timely manner. Which ends up being a huge waste of time. And as everyone knows, TIME is our most valuable asset.
  4. Every deal that I have completed in my portfolio has been generated by my own proprietary software application, and even though I have purchased more than a couple of dozen deals over the last year, I have yet to find something from a third party wholesaler or otherwise.
  5. I hope that you do not think that I am wholesaler bashing, but maybe it is because I have not run across a true professional wholesaler, or, maybe I missing something and I am not doing something right.
  6. Is there anyone who is been successful with the utilization of wholesalers? And if so what is the secret? Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
  7. Lastly if you are wholesaler or know of a wholesaler, who can provide results get in touch with me. We have our own cash and can close quickly.

  1. Wholesalers provide a service.  I've been on both sides of the fence and my purpose is to not give my investors deals that have no meat on the bone.  Like in any situation, all good business professionals will conduct their due diligence.  I can't stand it when people don't call me back.  It sounds like you need to get yourself a couple of wholesalers and take care of them so they can take care of u.  We recently left LV summer of 2013.  The market is too volatile for me. Good luck in your investments.  Go Rebels.
