Just finished "Zillow Talk The New Rules of Real Estate"

Hi all,

I know I missed the past couple days and I am trying to keep this a Monday through Friday habit.  I have been rather busy in the past week with the construction business and I have another busy week coming up.

On the real estate side of things I have began to look into different people to contact and keep in the ear of for possible leads.  Different professionals and officials that would have an "inside scoop" for houses that could be flips.  I also am learning more about SEO (if anyone out there is an expert I'm all ears!).  I would like to have my website be a productive source for leads.

Now that the quick update is over I would like to tell you all about the new book "Zillow Talk" I have just completed.  I would definitely recommend the book to investors as it does have a lot of interesting information as far as how real estate markets can change and what may drive these factors aside from the most obvious.  There is definitely a ton of talk about national data, national median, national this that and the other thing which isn't extremely useful considering how local real estate is.  Really odd stats and date these authors went mining through for everything from starbucks to houses in disaster areas.

I wouldn't recommend this book to be the basis of your investment strategy but I will say there are enough good bits of information in the book to make it worth your while to read if you are looking for some interesting perspective from a couple of guys that mined the data to the extremes.
