People in Real Estate

@Justin Pierce wrote an interesting article for the Washington Post about people in Real Estate.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/where-we-live/...

Mainly he describes how he has been disappointed with people in his real estate dealings.  Greed is a big driver of misbehavior that he covers in the article.  You also have a lot of people for whom it is a game and they are trying to reach deals with people who are looking for a home.

I think a big factor in Real Estate is a lot of times you are dealing with people giving their "sales pitch".  In a lot of other cases I have found I generally will see someone's track record before I do business with them.  A lot of times in Real Estate the first interaction can involve a potential business transaction.  In that scenario it is very easy for people to over-promise and under-deliver which leads to disappointing results.
