If We Can House Hack With 4 Kids and 2 Dogs So Can You

I always tell my clients I have tons of experience but my greatest attribute is mindset and empowering people with a belief that they can do what they set out to do no matter their circumstances. My wife and I made the decision to invest in real estate back in 2012. It was just us and two Shiba Inu’s. From that date on if you know us one of two things were happening, each year we were either having a new child or buying a new property.

We started out with a single family which ended up being a huge mistake in terms of the numbers. Ultimately we renovated it, sold it and moved back in with my parents before officially buying our first House Hack. We closed on a multi-family property the same week our second son was born. The property needed major work, we both had full time jobs but we really had no choice but to get the work done because we could not afford the property without getting tenants.

Our third Child was born during the renovations of our first multifamily. We stayed in the property for 3 years. Before moving to our next House Hack where our fourth child was born. At this point we were 4 kids, 2 dogs and 2 full time w2 employees managing our first multi family and renovating our new property.

We literally moved property to property renovating and playing hide and go seek on a daily basis. We had a blast. Our experience was fun and created a lifetime of memories. Since house hacking we have moved on to live in fix and flips where we continue our real estate journey with the family making more memories.
