DFW is 2nd Most Stable City to Live in Right Now

According to RelocateAmerica.com these are the Top 10 Most Stable Cities to Live in Right Now 

1. Tulsa

2. Dallas/Ft. Worth: Dallas has a concentration of high-tech companies, corporate headquarters and wholesale trade markets. Ft. Worth has had more than 900 major business expansions or relocations there over the past decade, according to the site. The median price of an existing single-family home in the area was $145,800 in 2008, according to NAR.

6. Houston: Houston is known as the Energy Capital of the World. Its oil and gas exploration and production was still adding jobs "at a prodigious rate" in early 2009, according to the site.   1. Jim, the G20 meetings really pointed the spotlight on Pittsburg. Hopefully that will lead to more good things. And Marco, yes I agree DFW is a great investing enviroment right now. Just 3 years ago it felt tike Dallas was left behind--how things change.


  2. The Pittsburgh housing market is really good too... while the national crises was going on the home sales here in the burgh never really dropped.. Although some might say its a sellers market, there are also many foreclosure deals around here.
