How to Conduct Online Customer Service Surveys

Small 1400855352 Online Business

You want to know how your customers and home buyers feel and what they want. When you’re running a real estate business, it’s vital to get the best feedback to see what you’re doing well and find out how you can improve. \. Here are some ways to conduct a survey to gain the information you need.

1 Ask plenty of questions

Instead of asking only two or three open-ended questions in your survey, sprinkle in plenty of multiple-choice questions. Survey respondents like to go through some questions very quickly and fill in their own comments only a few times during a questionnaire.

2 Write the questions well

There’s no need to beat around the bush. If your customer doesn’t understand the question you’re asking, they’ll skip it or give up taking the survey altogether. Ask what you want to know and avoid too much flowery language.

3 Let your customers know you want feedback

You want as many of your customers to take your survey as possible. Send the survey straight to their email inbox, make a blog post about it on your website, send it through your business’ social media channels and place it on your site’s sidebar.

4 Make it a contest

People love getting free stuff. Let your customers know that if they take your survey, they’ll go into a drawing for a new product or service. You can also give every survey respondent a free guide, e-book, or something else fairly inexpensive.

5 Get feedback often

Some businesses rarely ask for feedback. Instead of sending out a lengthy and complex survey once every year or two, send out a few each year. You can’t offer and create new products if you don’t know what your audience wants, or what kind of customers your business is attracting.

6 Contact someone

Not all customers have a positive attitude about businesses. Some companies have a tendency to merely treat them as a number. If one of your survey respondents expressed dissatisfaction with your company’s products or services, show them you care and ask about their experience by calling or emailing them directly.

Let your customers tell you what they expect from your company and if you’re meeting their expectations. Be as objective as possible and use the information to improve your online business. If you need help getting your reviews, try using http://www.opentell.com.
