Funniest Things I've Seen As a Real Estate Investor: Part 4

Being a real estate investors provides plenty of entertainment, so I decided to document it. Here is part 4 of the funniest things I've seen as a real estate investor. Today I focus on one house in particular, which I call the "deck house". The reasons for this will become obviously shortly, but basically, the house was a weird 2 bed, 1 bath ranch that is maybe 850 sq. ft. I swear this deck is at least 1500 sq. ft. Now that is money well spent:

Normal 1408045039 4 Deck

Normal 1408045125 4 Deeeeccckkkk

Normal 1408045136 4 Deeeeeeecccccckkkkkk
Well, at least it would make for good barbecues...

  1. If only you could rent out decks

    1. You know, if I had a nickel for every time I heard that, I would have, well, a nickel.

  2. It is a nice deck, though :-)

    1. Very nice. I do wonder with these things what the contractor would have said when the owner requested they build a deck that's twice as big as the house. Things that make you say "hmmm"
