Do I need a Business LOGO?
I don’t have a business logo, can I start a business? I need to spend a good amount of money on a logo to bring in customers? I want to brand my self right so I need a business logo, business cards, Business entity and a website. These are just a few things I see people do before actually doing anything in business. It mind boggles me that people put so much power into meaningless things that will not generate you any income as you are starting. The most important asset you have is between your ears. Also determination, persistence and massive action will actually separate you from everyone else not a business logo. Now lets dive in to this topic.
I was watching a video from Brendon Burchard and he was speaking on how some people get so lost on doing things the traditional corporate way that they do not become effective business owners. He stated that he owns 7 figure businesses that have NO BUSINESS LOGO. I have a 6 figure business that has no business logo or website. I know people here locally that do not have business cards, fancy logos or websites and they do 6 figures a year. The power is not in the Logo but its in the person who actually owns the business. There are HOT DOG CART owners in New York City who GROSS 425k a year. Guess what they do not have a logo and probably wont be getting one in the future.
When is the last time you brought from a business because they had a nice logo, business card or business entity??? Please let me know By commenting on this blog. However you have done business with someone because they have a product or service you need. I don’t go to wal mart because they have a nice easy on the eyes logo. I go to wal mart all the time because they have every thing I need or want at low prices.
In Conclusion, lets compare this to your real estate business. Your clients don’t care about your business logo , business card or if you have the correct business entity. They want your service or product. That’s all it takes to get started in this business a house & a buyer. Its simple but not easy. Don’t get caught up and things that do not make you money. The moment you actually decide to build a business you need to focus on producing income. Here is a quote from Robert Kiyosaki “Don’t take advice from sales people take advice from rich people” . So don’t listen to the guy selling logo’s telling you that you need one for your business. YOU DON’T NEED IT. IT might be nice to have but learn the difference between need & want.

@Nasar Elarabi
you nailed it when you said "people rather have a nice image than actually be in the trenches doing deals". Some people would rather have the image of success than actual success in their business. I don't care about sweet looking logos I just wanna be like Nasar when I grow up :) Hahahaha

As a graphic designer I was prepared to argue the direction of this post. But I read the whole post, sat back and gave myself time to think about it and I came to the conclusion; I really don't need a logo. What really swayed my potential argument was the comment by Robert Kyiosaki and other successful businessmen about taking advice from sales people. I'd rather take advice from someone that is succeeding in business than someone trying to sell me something.

and if that is your hang up, get it out of the way by spending 8.50 on 500 business cards and another 3 minutes to set up a "business" email on gmail.
Mind cleared now that the executive business decisions on card and email have been made, you can call that mortgage broker you didn't call because you thought he would care that you are new at this.

Hey @Nasar Elarabi I just saw this post. Love it! Some people get so caught up in these little things that they THINK makes them an investor when, in reality, they just need to get out there and start making money!
Keep up the good work!
