The value of continued education for real estate investors.

The value of continued education for real estate investors.

As I write this I getting ready to attend another real estate seminar. To be 100% honest, I have actually attended this seminar before. So why am I sitting in a classroom listening to a guru for the next five days. I am here because I will learn something of value here. So I am trading my time for education. The reason that I am very happy to trade my time for education is because the old adage in real estate investing is 100% true. Real estate education does not cost it pays. I can’t tell you how many little tricks and tips I have picked up over the years that have made me money.

I don’t care who you are, you can always learn more. One of my heroes in the real estate game is a living legend. This man is in his late 80’s now. He was teaching real estate investors when I was born in 1969. That legendary investor once told me that he still actively seeks out new people to learn from, and he is still learning. In our world there is so much to learn that you will not live long enough to learn it all.

What makes learning so powerful is that we, as investors get paid for our knowledge. Let me state that again, we get paid for our knowledge. We get paid because our knowledge allows us to solve complex real estate problems that the general public can’t fix.

The more knowledge that you have in your investor tool box, the more deals you will be able to do. The more deals you do, the more money you will make. So let me ask you, why isn’t every investor in America trying to cram every bit of knowledge into their heads.

To your success

Josh
