It's true, you can sell your house fast in Oklahoma City. I'm here to help! It's been a while since I've made a blog update, so I thought today might be the perfect day. Here's a picture of what my afternoon has looked like:

I've been sitting at starbucks in Oklahoma City, sipping a caramel latte, and writing a yellow letter campaign by hand.

I know many of you here at BP are on my buyer's list. Lately, I've had one buyer purchasing my properties, but the goal of this yellow letter campaign is the further build my relationships with other investors. For new investors who may not understand what a Yellow Letter Campaign is, let me explain: Yellow Letters are typically hand-written letters written on yellow legal paper with a generic message stating that you'd love to buy the person's house for cash. The best way to get some examples are by going to google image search and typing "Yellow Letter Examples".

Many newbie investors ask, "Whats the best way to do a Yellow Letter" and I have the perfect answer. The best way to do one is to do it NOW. Meaning today.. not tomorrow. Get 1 stamp, 1 letter, and use your computer paper if you have to. It doesn't matter what the letter says, there isn't a "best solution" for what to write. The only solution is to write letters and measure your results. Trust me, after sending thousands of letters you'll know which solution works the best for your specific area of the country.

As we all know, what works in my area may not work at all in your area. The only thing that works is you getting off of your lazy bum and start taking action. If I could get all the time back that I spent researching yellow letters and investing before I actually took action I'd be a much richer man.

If at this point you're really lost let me get you started.

1. Go to zillow and find a rental property near your residence
2. Go to google images and search for a yellow letter example
3. Print it off
4. Address an envelope and put a stamp on the envelope
5. Put your envelope in the mail TODAY with a stamp.

Tomorrow, find another rental address and do the same thing. After you took action, take the time to find the following:

1. How to access your county assessor to get the tax addresses of homes that you're targeting.
2. How to find absentee owners in your area.
3. Buy a yellow legal pad and come up with your own yellow letter text
4. ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN IT RINGS.
5. Write more letters. You really can't mess this up.

Yellow letters are simple, so simple I really think an 8 year old could do it. I may have better results if I had my son write the letters in crayon!
