Oklahoma City Real Estate Investor

I'm an Oklahoma City professional who has been intrigued by the real estate market for some time. I've finally quit being intrigued and started taking action.

The quote that I re-run in my mind every day is the following, "You can make money or you can make excuses, not both".

My life has given me every reason to make excuses lately and I refuse. I was on travel with my job for a few weeks. My infant son was in the hospital (he's okay now). Oh, did I mention I have an infant son (no sleep, no free time, etc.) lol.

Instead of taking the easy excuses, I've forced myself to send out at least two letters per day and answer all of my phone calls. Two letter's per day isn't a ton, but I'm hoping to find that first deal and get this ball rolling. I also force myself to go to the local Real Estate Investor meetings no matter the situation. For example, last month I was in the hospital with my son from 7 am until 15 minutes before the meeting and still made the meeting.

I'm glad to be a part of the bigger pockets community and hope to network with some of the many folks here, especially those in the Oklahoma City area.
