Collecting Rent... and Intel

Rent was collected by ALL of our tenants smoothly this month, what a blessing!

Read this on the FOR RENT Facebook page this week:

Available for move in today. It's just me, my nephew and son. I have a 3 bedroom house, fenced in yard, and a shed in the back yard for extra storage. All I'm asking is 400 for everything including Wi-Fi. There's a set electric bill amount in that 400 and if it rises considerably, I'd let you know and could ask for you to help pay any rise. Please be drug free, no parties, no smoking of any kind in the house. I don't smoke cigarettes or marijuana so I don't wanna smell it or see it. Need to be able to pay for and pass background test. I prefer someone my age, I'm 22. Kids are okay. I don't like a bunch of people in and out. Having friends over occasionally won't bother me at all. If you move in before the 20th of May, I expect the full month of Mays rent. After the 20th, I will only expect Junes rent. Thanks!

This is one of our tenants, ISO a roommate. Her last roomie didn’t work out. I’ve been monitoring the post to see who is responding and how she is reacting. So far so good.

I also found some interesting things on my weekly Craigslist cruising. One property similar to ours last rented 2 years ago, and now the rent is $100/month higher. And another comparable unit last rented in 2012 and is now $300/month higher. Blessings all the way around!
