Meeting Marcia

It’s the first of the month! I love the first of the month now, because it means rents should start coming in!

Two of our houses have non-paying occupants, that’s not as much fun. A few weeks feels like a lifetime when the money and communication stop.

This week I accomplished one of my 2015 real estate related goals. A little late, but well worth the wait. We drove about an hour to meet a nearby investor. She is also active on the landlording forums, and I’ve wanted to meet her. I contacted Marcia and she invited us to her local REA meeting.

Added bonus, we got to learn about Cadet heaters. I had no idea that they were manufactured locally.

Another BP member reached out to let me know he enjoyed reading my e-book. Fun that anyone is still reading it. Last year I averaged about $11/month in royalties, this year it has been closer to $1/month.
