Merry Christmas all!

Since my last post, a pretty significant wind storm tore through my town. The city lost many old trees, uprooted in the winds. At one of our rentals, we experienced a roof leak and a neighboring roof blew onto our carport roof (photo). Our handyman was busy helping with houses damaged by falling trees, but yesterday afternoon was able to attend to repairs.

This morning read this article in the local paper: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Q8SNHCF

No matter how normal things look on the outside, it is important to get inside our properties at least every two years! And I have never been a fan of subletting! And even being long distance, this owner could have checked on the taxes and mortgage being paid timely. Plenty of learnings.

Wishing everyone a safe and merry Christmas. I’m looking forward to getting Brandon’s latest books, a Christmas gift to myself!
