Get an Intern (yes, you!)

There’s really no reason not to have an intern. If you are a real estate investor then you should have an intern. I structure my internships so they receive a stipend based on performance and, so far, it’s worked out where we both enjoy the partnership. The experience they get from learning first-hand is priceless while I get to scale my business faster.

Here are 10 things they could be doing for you right now:

1.Posting articles on your social media channels to position you as a real estate resource

2.Conducting research on awards given out to properties and real estate investors in your market

3.Sending thank you gifts to those you come across in your business life – you’d give the intern the copy for the note and they’d pick the gift and mail it out

4.Updating and improving your website so it stays current

5.Generate leads for you

6.Create and post ads to find potential tenants

7.Polish up your documents so they look more professional

8.Research tech tools to include in your business

9.Provide a fresh perspective on challenges you’re coming across

10.Help out around the property

What are some other things an intern could help you with?
