Fun Run and Great Food Options This Thanksgiving Along 30A
Looking for a different way to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends? Head on to 30A on November 27, 2014 and join the Annual 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run hosted by Hammer Down Multisport to get some action. It would be a great excuse to get an extra serving of turkey and pumpkin pie afterwards!
The Fun Run starts and ends in the beautiful town of Rosemary Beach and winds along Scenic Highway 30A, offering participants a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Mexico, Camp Creek Coastal Dune Lake and the most exclusive and charming homes along 30A’s beach communities.
If you want to join the Fun Run, you are advised to arrive at least 1 hour before the race begins for parking and registration. The out and back route is designed for runners of all levels, whether they are looking to beat a personal record or just enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with friends and family in the beautiful beach communities of 30A.
Participants will receive a free customized 30A 10K shirt and refreshments after the race.
If you’re too tired to cook up a Thanksgiving dinner after the race, you can head on to any of 30A’s local restaurants to enjoy a great holiday dinner with family and friends.

Harbor Docks: Dine In and Give Back!
If you are looking for a way to show thanks and give back this holiday season, you can join Habitat Okaloosa for a traditional dinner. The restaurant opens on Thanksgiving at 11:00 a.m. and dinner will be served until 7:00 p.m. at Harbor Docks. Donations can be dropped at a cash bar. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit Habitat Okaloosa.
Sail Away on Thanksgiving Day upon The Solaris
If you are looking for a different way to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends, hop on board the Solaris and take an afternoon or evening cruise on the Choctawhatchee Bay. A lavish buffet will be available on November 22 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM. The Solaris will depart from Baytowne Marina at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.

From November 18, 9am to 1pm, you can shop at the Seaside Farmer’s Market for the freshest ingredients to use in your Thanksgiving recipes or get locally prepared goodies that are ready to eat!
