How to Decorate Your Beachfront 30A Luxury Home

How to Decorate Your Beachfront 30A Luxury Home

When it comes to selling , a quality view is worth a lot.

Your interior decor choices should highlight what the buyers will be paying for in terms of views and beach lifestyle. This not only increases the value of your 30A luxury home, but also creates a relaxing environment that blends the interior of your waterfront home with its beautiful surroundings.

Your 30A luxury home's interior decor choices should highlight what the buyers will be paying for in terms of views and beach lifestyle.

Here are 3 tips on decorating your beachfront home:

1. Use Windows as Focal Points

It’s a challenge to combine the desire to emphasise the waterfront views with the need for privacy. Install sheer or light-colored drapes or vertical blinds on the windows. These allow in plenty of sunlight to come through even when you need to close them for privacy and are easy to open when you want a full view of the Gulf of Mexico. Avoid dark colored window treatments. You can also use a privacy film over the glass instead of traditional window treatments. This provides an unobstructed view of the beach while keeping the interior of your home private.

2. Direct Furniture Towards the Windows

Lay out your living room furniture so the larger furniture like the sofa leads the eyes toward the windows. You can have the armrest of the couch pointing towards the windows instead of turning them to face the window head-on. This position naturally draws the eye to the view, which should be the focal point of the room, while allowing you to see the water from the corner of your eye. You can also do this with other areas of the home. Arrange bedroom furniture to make it easier to see the view from anywhere in the room. Point the foot of the bed toward the largest window.

3. Color

One of the most important things that will enhance the design of your beachfront home is picking the right colors. Beach homes should be light and airy, creating an “open” feeling and the right color can help you achieve this. Choose colors that are compatible with a beach house like light colors and simple neutrals that attract the light. Green, yellow and blue work very well. Avoid dark colors as much as possible.

Other things you can do to decorate your beachfront home along 30A is to use wood or wicker furniture and use wall decor that accentuates the beach life like sailor-themed or underwater-themed decorations.

Decorating your to maximize the gulf front views and accentuate the beach lifestyle will attract more buyers and increase the value of your home.
