Finding Your Licensed Money Lender
Saving up money is a task we are all encouraged to do especially while we have a stable source of income and while we’re still young enough to secure funds we can use for our retirement or, for instance, our children’s schooling and other major expenses. The thing is not everyone is able to automatically slash an amount that will directly go to savings off their salaries because either what they’re earning is just enough to cover bills and other expenses and sometimes, contingencies.
We can only hope that that there’ll be no unwelcome emergencies that would require us to shell out a large amount of money at a time when we don’t have it but in case it happens, there is comfort in knowing that we have the option of borrowing money from a licensed money lender. The question is how can you be sure that you’re talking to a moneylender that is genuine? Here are some things you should look out for when looking for legitimate money lenders.
1.They Should be Transparent
Licensed money lenders should be able to explain to you the guidelines and rules that regulate the loan program, and in a context that you will truly understand. They must be able to answer all of your questions regarding the loan and elaborate to you any concerns that aren’t clear to you on the first reading. They should also provide you a means of keeping track of your payments so that you’ll know how still far you are from covering the debt.
2.Every Process Should be Legal
Legitimate money lenders make it a point to do everything upright even if it means more paperwork and asking more data from you. Be wary of any money lender who doesn’t bother explaining you the process of borrowing money and paying it back. Filing for a loan takes more than signing a single page of agreement. Take precaution by reading the papers given to you and ask them to clarify any redundancies or ambiguous terms and conditions.
3.They Should be able to Give You Sound Advice
Aside from giving you the money, money lenders should also be able to give you sound advice when it comes to filing a loan. They should also discuss with you terms of payment and a timetable that will work for you so that you can all ensure that you won’t have a hard time paying the loan back.
When the time comes that you’ll need to seek help from a money lender, make sure that you’ll only go to the licensed ones to secure yourself from fraud.
