RESEARCH:
-BiggerPockets: I began reading about Seller Financing. It looks like I should have money in the bank to persue this option.
ACTION!
-Prospecting: Drove through my Mom's neighborhood and got the information from a for rent sign that has been up for a month or so.
-Prospecting: Saw a SOLD sign in the same neighborhood with the RE Agent's name. I figured I would see if he knows the area very well and can tell me a bit about it.
-Prospecting: Saw a FOR SALE > Seller Financing Available sign so I stopped into the house and took a couple of pictures. It's listed by an RE Agent.

AFTERTHOUGHTS:
Happy Fourth of July! I promised my wife that I wouldn't work on REI today and that I would sleep in with her.

(I still Ninja'd in a little REI!) ha

I've decided that I am going to invest into a (100) bandit signs... I wasn't too excited about doing this, but I've assessed our financials and I can't fit mailers into our budget. Especially since I NEED TO GET A HOUSE under contract and assigned by August 31st.

Bandit signs will get 100s of views daily and will likely be seen more than once by many people.

The upfront cost and speed of lead generation is something I've had to consider seriously. (I really didn't want to do bandit signs...)

I feel the reason why I haven't wanted to do bandit signs is because of my personal comfort level with stapling them to posts and putting them into the ground at major intersections (Man up!)

I guess it's because those signs in my mind have a cheap reputation... I need to put my pride aside. REI is a wonderful service and I need to keep the mindset that every sign I put out... I'm giving 'the troubled' an escape from their current circumstances.
