AFTERTHOUGHTS:
My Post Title is going to whip some heads around I'm sure...
I'm in sales and years before I was in the industry the rule of thumb was, "You always want to make a great first impression. People usually know if they want to buy from you in the first thirty seconds of meeting you."
For me personally, I know how important an internet presence is. When you take into consideration that these days your 'first impression' is generally made on the internet. So how are you presenting yourself?
The vision for the site is a creative one and I haven't seen anything like it. It's simple, but sexy and it will pull the visitors attention immediately while delivering a 'to the point' explanation of what we do. It's not going to be like the common landing page where you click it, glance over it, and move on.
Jena doesn't see why the site is necessary, and to be honest it's not necessary to get our first deal, BUT it is important for lead generation and private money moving forward. Internet marketing is where I would like to focus my efforts...
On another note, Jena will be without a job at the end of this month. She is completing her transition to teaching class which requires four months of student teaching (aka no pay teaching).
I am moving forward with taking my RE classes online $400, the remaining fees will be around $700-$1000, in addition to the $500/mo for the website, and $250/mo for marketing..... Needless to say, Jena has some concern about our monthly cashflow... it puts the pressure on me to not only take action in REI, but to get results.
She is trusting that I can generate some income from this. I believe that God will open the door to the path He wants me to take. Whether that path is prosperous or leads to a dead end...
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
Here we go!
