Too many houses!

Sometimes I look at houses online (on the MLS), because ... well, that's what I like to do.  I like to stay on top of the prices in the market, and see what inventory is out there.

The problem with doing this is that I see too many houses that I want to go take a look at.  I find myself running the numbers in my head when I look at the pictures online -- that one needs paint in every room, replace the carpet, maybe refinish some hardwood floors, etc.  How much would that one rent for?  $750?  $850?

This wouldn't be a problem if I was in the market to buy another house, but right now, when I'm in the middle of rehabbing two properties, I can't buy another one right now.  (If I didn't also work a full time job then I probably could.)

So I have to shut my web browser and know that another day will come when I can buy another house ... *sigh*

  1. I can empathize. I just finished two rental properties . Both were great purchases and cash flowing nicely. I need to wait a few more months to have the Capitol for the next. Yet, there is lots of great deals in my market. Sigh
