0% interest loans for rehabbing in SW WI

The Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program (SWCAP) provides no-interest loans, provided to landlords, for rehabilitation of rental properties. This program is funded through the Wisconsin Department of Commerce.

Some program details:

- Maximum loan amount of $24,999

- Zero percent interest rate

- Loans are repaid over a period of 5 to 10 years.

- The owner must agree to comply with HUD market rent standards.

- The owner must rent to tenants with incomes that are below program income guidelines.

- Land contracts are prohibited.
