First E-mail

While I have been in the RE investing business for three years, I had not had the opportunity to build a buyer's list or to send out to one. That all changed recently. and I finally sent out our first e-mail. While the Bay Area has been out of our own reach for quite some time, finally prices have come down to where there are some exceptional deals right now.

 So I wrote this intro to our first e-mail to get peopel oriented to us:

We have been investing in real estate for several years, all over the country, and never thought I could find good investment properties that cash-flow, in our own backyard. In addition to the appreciation that this area is known for, now you can even cash flow in the San Francisco Bay Area!  Get your money out of the stock market and start making money on your investments!

These properties are 10 minutes from downtown Oakland, which is quite nice, and 30 minutes from Downtown San Francisco, where the average 2,000 square foot house still costs $1,000,000.  These properties have a rental vacancy rate of about 4.3%, with some of the highest rent in the country and a huge rental pool.
 
These are about 60% to 65% of current value, and just 25% to 33% of what they were selling for just a few years ago.  And this is not Las Vegas, Phoenix, Florida or the Midwest Rustbelt! This is the ocean, sailing, mountains, Skiing, Wine Country, Silicon Valley, and 15 minutes from UC Berkeley.
