Who's this spastic, annoying, anarchist?

Hey there!

I can never justify long writings in the forum so I decided to start a blog.

I always wanted to follow a blog of someone with little odds of becoming rich and actually becoming rich; so here I am. I myself am "poor" in many peoples eyes I think. I live off Spanish rice and cupped soup (the spicy chicken flavor precisely). I buy my Spanish rice and soup in bulk haha, maybe I'll take pictures of my stock for fun :D. I have no job, I live with my mom, I have a beautiful daughter and girlfriend, I like to believe I'm smart, and I do have 14k. Now, by the time I actually get a house under contract and all, I'll probably be down to 12k as I have a phone bill, gas to pay for, and I do pay for my mothers phone bill in exchange for housing.

I think what I'm starting with is pretty low and is attainable for many people so I hope to inspire people in my shoes. By the way, I got my money by working at minimum wage jobs when I was younger. My state's minimum wage is $7.50/hr, so anything close to that and you should feel you got this in the bag to save as much as I have. Well I guess some qualifiers would be to have cheap housing, but in defense, I do have a daughter, a car and insurance payment and my other aforementioned bills. If there is a will, there is a way. You can do it too! (save the $14k)

Now here's some random things about me:

1. I love studying economics, sophos, math, REI, and happiness.

2. I'm not religious in any way, but I do believe there is a possibility that a god does exist. I don't like to debate about any of the gods (I say gods as depending mostly on what your parents believe in you may believe in "God", Moses, Buddha, Thor, Zeus, or thousands of others) as I don't think it's possible to prove or disprove a god with unlimited powers/capabilities. So by all means enjoy your religion! Good for you!

3. I haven't been diagnosed with anything but I am told all the time I talk too much. It sucks on my side as it's really hard to find people interested in economics, science, sophos, and contemporary issues.

4. I really think women are better then men as a whole. Maybe not in everything, but overall I think they are better.

Here's my political views:

1. My favorite economic philosopher is Milton Friedman (capitalist). Followed by his polar opposite, Noam Chomsky (anarcho-sydicalist/libertarian socialist).

2. I vote for anarchism, but I do believe it's unlikely we'll ever get there. In the current world, I think Friedman's ideas are more applicable and valuable compared to Chomsky's, but it's important to at least understand what the other side is about. Please don't label anarchism for what it really is. The main difference between capitalism and anarchism is this:

Capitalists believe that peoples main motives are money.

Anarchists believe that peoples main motives are happiness.

3. Obama or Romney? Both are equal in my eyes so I don't see a real choice.

Okay, I've expressed my self enough, that's all!

By the way, if anyone would ever like me to post about my thoughts about about anarchism, happiness, economics, math, or anything in particular, I'd be glad to! (yeah I know, fat chance)

I'm also very skilled and literate in computers so if you need any help with them, ask me!

Manuel

  1. True, maybe I will add an actual picture.

  2. Manuel - Good luck with your new blog and thanks for sharing a little more about yourself. Blogs definitely give you a little more freedom to express yourself. Perhaps at some point soon, you'll add your own photo to your profile so we can get to know you even better. Regards.
