I'm Still Here

Yes, I'm still here, I've just been quiet. I'm still very much in this and have been making some connections and still looking at houses as they come on the market.

It's been hard as I can't find a good deal and I want to get in with the best possible chance of success so I'm still being patient. I'm want to get a house by at least the end of this year; if everything I have planned goes kind of right, I'm sure I'll meet this goal :D

I'll be sharing other stuff I've found useful for me with you all later :D

  1. Manuel Acuna Have you tried other ways of finding houses besides the MLS?

    1. Shanequa J. I'm embarrassed for responding so late, but yeah. I've looked at some FSBO's some of which were worse then the house I took pictures of. One looked like it was just being built upon (in an established neighborhood) with no permits. Some windows were only like 2ft. from the floor (code violation here), a second level with practically no support, no railings up the stairs, and just the weirdest add on's you've ever seen to a house haha. It seems like where I live, all houses on the MLS are being listed for what they are worth. The houses that need rehabbing, it's literally like a bank went in them, priced out the rehab costs and are listing the houses at 100%ARV - rehab. So, I'm just hoping something pops up. I like FSBO, but it's hard to find them without wasting a ton of gas since they aren't really online. Either way, I'm getting a job so I can; A, supplement my income a little, and B, not worry about the expense of using up gas. Manuel
