Dealing With Objectionable Buyers—Making The Most Of A Bad Situation

Normal 1510588383 Twitter

In this week’s Round Table, we go deep into a tricky situation...

You sold a property for $50,000 on terms, and the payments always come late but with late fees. They live on the property, which is permitted, but the owner is a felon who was just arrested again for possession of firearms and has since been released. But a friend of theirs, who also lives on the property, causes havoc and steals from the neighbors so it’s upsetting the whole community.

What do you do?

  • Is a sizable note worth the headache?
  • Could you do anything since they’re not breaking their contract?
  • What precautions can you take to avoid this type of situation in the future?

Finally, we get to know the newest member of our panel, Cynthia Tripathi.

Cynthia shares her journey, from coming into the program with skepticism to now—quitting the job she hated and going all in, in her land business.
