PPR - The Heart of the Note Business

Can a company maintain a philosophy of benevolence while achieving profitable growth? The answer to this question has become apparent to me during my last year as an Administrative Assistant at PPR, LLC ( PPR). It has opened my eyes to the existence of a true “win, win” situation. At PPR, the goal is not to profit at the expense of another. In fact, the opposite is true. A homeowner who is chosen to have his/her loan purchased by PPR has significantly improved his/her chance of a fresh start.

As a middle-class homeowner, I possess a deep sense of empathy for those who have financially fallen by the wayside. I understand what it is like to feel the fear of losing the home in which you have built your memories. In many instances, all that is required is an extended hand to pull one up out of the trenches to allow a new beginning. PPR is the hand that is extended to countless homeowners in the form of workout specialists who treat homeowners as human beings as opposed to faceless loans. When a homeowner calls the PPR office, he/she asks for a person, not an extension. I have heard my fellow employees listen to the homeowner’s story before writing down one bit of financial information. This philosophy has been handed down by the partners at PPR who never fail to put principles before profits.

During the last year, I have been asked many times about the function of PPR. As I explain the dynamics of the business, I can see the interest in the eyes of those who ask the question. Often I am asked if PPR can help a relative or a friend who is facing financial difficulty. It reminds me of the fact that those who are chosen to have PPR purchase their loan are fortunate.  Although PPR cannot help everyone, they continue to “help one homeowner at a time” on a daily basis. My answer to the above-mentioned question is a resounding “yes”; growth can be established and even fostered in an environment of benevolence. PPR continues to be a successful model of this philosophy. New beginnings and happy endings are established every day at the PPR office. It is what makes this Administrative Assistant grateful to be a member of the PPR team.
