"Non-Performing" Mortgage Notes - Residential and Commercial
Dunbar Note Funding is proud to announce that we have now added "Non-Performing" Loan Portfolios to the list of notes we purchase.
Non-Performing Loan -
A loan that is not currently being paid on, it is "delinquent" but not yet foreclosed on.
Portfolio -
A group of notes bundled together usually with the intent of selling them.
Do you purchase both Residential and Commercial Non-Peforming loans?
Yes, both. But we do not purchase "land only" loans.
What size notes should these be?
For Residential they should be on homes with outstanding balances of at least $100,000. For Commercial notes at least $500,000.
**Is there a maximum portfolio amount that you handle?**
We can handle up to $500,000,000 per portfolio.
How does this benefit the Bank?
Two-Fold, first the bank gets the non-performing asset of their books and secondly they do not have to "foreclose" on the home owner.
