1st Deal

I closed my 1st deal with another investor here in Baton Rouge.  It was a REO that got away from me and I asked the realtor to let me know if it comes back.  That deal fell through and she called me right away.  We put an offer in immediately and got the contract.  We sold the property 2 hours later.  Awesome!!!

  2. Congrats! I hope you have many more to come in the future!

  3. Some of them have a way of coming back around again--Congratulations!

  4. Sandra, I found the property down the street from a REO I was looking at and called the listing agent. I liked the house but did not move on it at that time. In the same timeframe I called a "I Buy Houses" sign as I was driving along and found a terrific experienced person who I have teame up with. I told him about the house and we called the agent. However by then there was a contract on the house. I asked the agent to call me if the deal did not go through. About 2 weeks later she called and said the house was back on the market at a lower price. I called my investor friend and we made an offer immediately. The offer was accepted the next day and we sold the house to an buyer my friend had in 2 hours. It was a great experience and I'm looking forward to many more.

  5. Congratulations, and good job following up on the property.

  6. Congratulations. I would like to know the whole story if you don't mind. See I'm new to the real estate investment industry and want to know the ends and outs of investing in RE.

  7. Congratulations. It pays to stay on top of things. A simple step and solid due diligence has put money in your pocket.
