Increase Traffic to Your Real Estate Website

One of the most important things you can use to boost your real estate website’s ranking in search engines like Google is having your website’s links on other people’s websites and other websites in general. These are called backlinks. If your website has 50 back links on other people’s websites for your farm area, it will be ranked higher than your area’s competitor who only has 20 back links on other people’s websites.

One of the best ways of getting back links is having a  blog where your readers can create back links to social media sites with a single click. In other words, if someone reads one of your articles and enjoys it, they can refer it with a single click to one of these social media sites where it will be published, thus creating a back link on that social media site.

So your Real Estate blog articles should be readily referable to the most popular social media sites that have high traffic such as FacebookTwitter, Delicious, Technorati, MySpace, Digg, StumbleUpon, Newsvine, and Google Bookmarks. The more popular the social site you’re referred to is, the more that referral will help your search engine ranking. The more referrals your articles get, the more highly search engines will regard those articles, thus boosting your SEO for those topics.

I have used the example of backlinking in this blog post to show you how traffic can be driven to these sites. Feel free to click on the links to see where they go and include this back-linking strategy in your online marketing strategy.
