My Top 5 List Of Real Estate Investing Podcasts

When it comes to getting knowledge on real estate strategies, tips, and other agent/investor’s experiences, real estate investing podcasts are the best way to go. The simple and easy option of being able to listen while you commute to work, go for a walk, or even while you work makes great for those that are super busy with life and it’s day to day functions.

While there are new shows being broadcasted every day, I believe there are a select few that deserve special recognition and have had great reputability with providing accurate and updated information.

BiggerPockets

This platform is very popular in terms of being able to network and connect with like minded individuals within the real estate investing community. You will find yourself stumbling upon loads of information, active community forums, blog posts, and even books published on the real estate investing topic. I, myself, have been a part of the Bigger Pockets community and even contribute to the platform for the public.

With that being said, they have an extraordinary podcast that provides practical information through an interview setting with different investors who “walk the talk”.

Business Unusual Podcast with Barbara Corcoran

Many people find themselves already knowing Barbara from being one of the “sharks” on Shark Tank. She has managed to create a thriving real estate brokerage company in New York City and has quickly become a serial entrepreneur. Her experience is vast when it comes to real estate but truthfully she is a woman who knows her way around the business world, too.

What’s truly commendable is her attitude and outlook on the necessities of starting a business from scratch. Something she said in one of her shows has sat with me to this day, “I don’t care how talented someone is, but I care very much how persistent they are.”

The Remote Real Estate Investor

This was one of the first podcasts I stumbled upon. This show targets up and coming trends within the real estate investing field, which just so happens to be investing remotely. This allows many investors to keep shooting for their dreams but from a long distance option.

Back in 2020 when Covid hit, the rest of the year became a pivotal one for the business world - working virtually and keeping a socially distant status has pushed many investors to think outside of the box in terms of still being able to work and promote their real estate investing strategies.

The Real Wealth Show Podcast

A very well seasoned and informative podcast that still offers valuable knowledge when it comes to building a notable long term rental portfolio would be the Real Wealth Show Podcast.

The host of this show is very wise on many different topics when it comes to learning how to invest in rental properties with different creative financing options, self-directed IRAs and 401ks and syndication.

Even for new investors, their interviews provide more insight on how you can get into the buy and hold strategy.

Conquer Real Estate Investing Podcast

This is my very own show, where I share my experience and how I balanced the different types of strategies throughout my 30 years in this career.

My knowledge varies from wholesaling, fix and flips, buy and holds, and even raising private money. I try to hold nothing back during these interviews and even bring on guest speakers, whether they are other investors or my previous students. These extra sets of minds help provide a different outlook on real estate and how you can even use their tips and tricks to help boost your business in the way you want.

Here’s what I do to get the Best Learning Experience:

  • Write down bullet points from interviews/shows. If you’re driving, pause the podcast and record a voice memo so that you can write it down at a later time.
  • Listen while you drive, workout, walk, or cook a meal. Listen, don’t just let the podcast become background noise.

  • Make a library of your favorite podcasts.
