Laurel, MD is a Wonderful Community

Laurel is a municipal city located along the Patuxent River, a source for power generation in the state of Maryland. Foreclosed homes in Laurel MD are available. The population is less than 50,000 and has good ethnic mix. The city's main attraction is the closeness to Washington D.C with which is well connected by road and rail. Regular bus services besides cabs are available for travel. The city is attractive with parks and good landscaping, clean roads, playgrounds and athletic fields. You can also find condos and townhouses here. City provides for all emergency services especially those concerning storms. Well policed security is available and safety of citizens assured. There are private as well as public schools for the residents to select as per their wish. Efficient fire and rescue services are also available. One point of distinction is Laurel's proximity to Applied Physics Lab of John Hopkins University.
