It Starts with One House

So there was a recently locked thread on Bigger Pockets regarding the "Our America, Lowballed Documentary " that you can watch via YouTube. I'm not here to talk about that specifically but I do want to say there were some amazing commenters and a plethora of valuable insight interjected on this topic, I'd like to say We BROKE the internet! In fact, it was so controversial that the topic was locked because some people feel it has nothing to do with real estate. I say educating the community on historical facts and current events that are factual about an industry that we're all participating in is vital to discuss. With that being said I am the Black Financial Representative for Black people. Someone else is going to have to take the role of the many other races. Now the reason I've chosen to take this role is that I am Black and my experience has been very Black. Many other ethnic groups have experienced racism but not like Blacks, Blacks are the only people who don't have a home continent, Asians have Asia, Europeans have Europe, and so on. Blacks have been scattered across the globe so that makes everywhere our home!

Recently I clocked my first 1000 hours toward my CFP designation!!! This is huge, being that there are only a little over 1600 Black Certified Financial Planners in the US, and if you guys didn't know Black wealth is non-existent and I'm going t

o help change that. This relates to real estate because not only do I feel housing is a human right, but it's also the first and easiest way to obtain wealth. Like David Bach said in his book "Start Late, Finish Rich" It doesn't take a portfolio of homes but just one!
