3 Timeless Amenities that Will Make your Airbnb Special.
We all want to provide cool amenitiesto make out Airbnb stand out. We also want something nice that will be maintenance-free.
The amenities that come to mind are hot tubs, pool slides, and game rooms.
But here I will show you some unique ways to make your place special that no one else is doing. These are all 1-time considerable investments but are totally worth it!
1. Floating Bed - Younger Folks
Have a floating bed in the master bedroom. The concept is installing a disc-shaped bed that hangs from the ceiling. The gentle rocking motion will provide better sleep and relaxation. This can be ideally placed in the master bedroom hanging from the ceiling or outside on the patio.
Floatingbed.com has these in King and Queen-sized mattresses.
These beds cost about $5000 but the booking value of this type of amenity is sure to make up for this investment.
If you do it in the bedroom, you will have to allocate $500-$800 to have a beam installed in the attic to hang the bed from. If you purchase this from floatingbed.com they will sell you a hanging kit for an additional charge.
2. Zero Gravity Massage Chair - Older Crowd
You come across these chairs in the mall all the time. Most people feel foolish sitting in a public place to get their limbs massaged. Having this chair in your living room (without a countdown clock) is a very attractive amenity.
You can find these on Amazon starting at $800.
3. Meditation Room
This is really great when your home has an extra room and you are unsure what to do with it.
Decorate the room with meditation-themed art. Add a diffuser with essential oils. Throw in some yoga mats, a yoga wheel, and a sitting cushion.
You will be surprised at how many people will book your place because of a meditation room.
How so I know you ask?
Well, I have a yoga room in my 4th bedroom. I was considering turning it back into a bedroom. I first reached out to my future guests that booked if they were OK if I turned the promised meditation room back into a bedroom.
60 percent of the responses were negative. They booked my place, near Disney of all places, particularly because of the advertised mediation room.
Please reply if you have any other cool ideas and I will include them in a follow-up article.
