Welcome to my agent blog for investors

This is my first post so I will keep it short. Like everything in life my journey into real estate has been all about pivoting. I became an agent to generate income to buy my investment properties while working my full time job as an active duty Airman. Two years later and I have learned so much about being an agent and the different niches out there. I have come full circle from standard single family residential homes to working with investors which is where I wanted to be when I started studying for my license.

This blog is going to track my progress working with real estate investors and the challenges we face in the Short Term Rental markets. I was fortunate enough to be located in the Destin area which is a regional powerhouse in terms of short term rental markets. The posts on this blog will protect the privacy of my clients but I will be sharing issues with running numbers to returns pre-offer, running comps, issues with offers, what actually happens when financing condos with non conventional loan products and other contract to close issues investors can expect to face when they jump into this space.

I want to help first time and seasoned investors reach their goals so I can reach mine. I'm looking forward to putting out some really insightful posts and peeling back the curtain on what really happens during a real estate transaction for short term rentals.

Regards,

Kevin Pillow Jr
