Burn the ships, the only way home is in Persian Ships

This is my diary, while it's my record of what I have done and where I am going it's also, hopefully, a guide others can follow. 

I am an investor based in NC, I buy houses in the Raleigh and Fayetteville area, after retiring from 22 years of military service. I have read books and listened to webcasts. I know all the ways to be an investor and even critiqued others. The more learning I do the more I thought I was doing. I met a gentleman Thursday that just "started doing", now he's on deal ten within two years and I just closed on my second deal in ten years. 

I have taken steps to start this process before and wasted a few thousand dollars. While I gained a little bit of kno1age along the way and found a few ways that don't work, ultimately not buying has been my single point of failure. 

No more fantasy football, no more learning all there is to know. It's time to take action I have retired from the military, my last paycheck is days away. There is no falling back, the only way is forward if I fall it will be on my face because the only thing at my back is the burning ships that brought me here. 

This is my first step onto that distant shore, the only way to survive is to step off of the beach and into the unknown ahead.
