Restaurants

At Maggie's be Cafe, Chuck & Virginia Fischer strived to create an establishment in their neighborhood where workers with intellectual and developmental disabilities could find a fulfilling and steady job. The cafe was created in honor of their 25-year-old daughter Maggie with Down Syndrome. Knowing

how challenging it can be for those with disabilities to get and keep employment, Chuck and Virginia wanted to curate a work environment of acceptance, understanding, inclusion, and love. This idea was passed on to co-owners Dave and Tracey Beemer. This not-for-profit cafe offers your typical coffee beverages as well as a selection of sweet treats, it even has a ripple machine that can print any photo onto a cup of coffee. At Maggie’s Be Café, we (be)lieve that everyone (be)longs, and we can work (be)side one another.

Wing Doozy serves the best wings in West Michigan. The always-fresh, never-frozen wing can be paired with premium house-made sides, bourbon, and beers. The casual restaurant established its Hudsonville location in the winter of 2018. The

boneless wings are the opposite of every boneless wing you’ve ever had, they’re hand-cut daily, never frozen, and lightly breaded. The restaurant has free iPad stations to keep the kids entertained. The homemade sauces include the typical selection as well as flavors unique to Wing Doozy like Daves Fire BBQ Doozy. If wings aren’t your style, Wing Doozy offers house-made tater tots with a creative twist like the TATOtot, the loaded baked potato tot with onion, garlic, sharp cheddar, and bacon inside a tater tot. This location is great for events, dining in, or just a quick lunch. Stop in and check it out!

Sister company to Hudsonville Winery, Pike 51 Brewing Co. has become a stable for the Hudsonville community. Its 16 taps hold at least 6 mainstay beers as well as a variety of seasonals and one-offs centered around the brewery’s fondness of barrel ages
