Meet the Author: Zak Marinko

Hello fellow Bigger Pockets disciples! I'm writing here to start documenting my experience and get used to sharing my thoughts online with all of you. I'll start with introducing myself and giving a general overview of my story, and setting up my goal for this blog.

I am currently a Project Engineer living in Chicago, and I just graduated from college with an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering in December of 2020. At 22 years old, I've already been a part of 3 deals: One flip and two small multifamily purchases. I've had partial stake in all of the deals I've been involved in. My goals are to generate passive income that can replace my income from my W-2 job. I also want to provide affordable, energy-efficient housing to Chicago residents of underserved neighborhoods.

For the remainder of the blog, I'm going to continue to dive deeper into each of my deals. I'm also going to give updates, given that each is still in process. I hope you enjoy!
