Are you raising your kids to succeed on their own?

To get your kids to reach their potential there are two important things you must do among so many other things:

  • 1. Help them develop their God’s given talents into useful, marketable, and profitable skills.

This is done by watching them gravitate towards certain things like reading, writing, drawing, singing, etc. and encourage them to do more.

Celebrate their progress and support their training schedule if they choose to learn more about that particular subject matter.

With time this will either reach a high level of competence or will evolve into something else that you would have to support as well without critiquing or enforcing too much on them, so they do not quit or get frustrated and instead will always feel that they are discovering their own ways and creating their own opportunities.

Those who end up doing what they like most; end up with an inner balance that permeates their life.

  • 2. Help them develop their own sense of critical thinking by helping them make and trust their own decisions and experience the consequences or rewards until they develop a high level of good judgment.

This is done by demonstrating to them how biased thinking is created in one’s mind based on past experiences and how it affects everything in everyone’s life: From their daily thoughts to their regular emotions to their routine activities, etc.

Personal bias practically influences everyone’s decision-making process from where to live, to what to do, to whom to love.

Whatever you do to help them self-reflect and self-correct based on their own good judgment will guide their degree of ethics and self-discipline throughout their life in any endeavor they will undertake.

And most importantly they will be able to make decisions faster and better than others in every arena of life and such decisions will not be self-centered but over time they will be more focused on the greater good.

By helping them develop their skill level and their good judgment their luck factor will be exponentially increased as they will know how to cease opportunities, create new ones, and turn bad situations into good fortunes.

Wishing you good judgment in your parenting skills.

Sincerely,
