Choosing the underpinning for your home

There are many types of underpinning to use on mobile homes, the newest kind they have out is the composite board that lots of the dealers are using for the new mobile homes, this is nice looking and is relatively expensive when compared to some of the other types that we are going to talk about This type of underpinning is 50-60 dollars for a 4 ft long piece. This is very durable and should last a long time
Metal is the type we are currently using its about 18 dollars for 8 ft of it and 27 dollars for 12 ft. This should last longer than any types that we are discussing here.
Vinyl is a very nice looking product and is very durable as long as the ground does not move underneath of it or you use a weedeater to close to it, this product is about 15 dollars for an 8 ft. sheet and you also have to buy top and bottom rails to install it.
Plastic type is the underpinning that looks like rocks and its about 25-35 dollars per 5 ft. sheet, it is durable just stay away from this product with a seedeater as well.
