The Adventure in Real Estate Begins

Hello! My name is Andrew, and I’m brand new to all this investing stuff. I have been learning as much as I can over the last few years and I finally have a plan that I am moving forward with.

My goal for this blog is to capture and journalize the different phases and progress of my plan and to share it with anyone who is interested in following along.

The first phase of my plan is to pay down some debt, increase my credit score and decrease my debt to income ratio. I am fairly close to having a few different debts paid off, which feels pretty great.

The next phase of my plan is actually an ongoing process of looking for great deals. While I have been learning about the rules of good real estate investing I have been applying what I’ve learned to the opportunities currently available. 

I plan to start with a multi-family unit in a state outside of where I live. I have a ways to go on this journey before I can get that first property, but I plan on cataloging my progress, goals, thoughts and maybe even research.
