I have covered a couple of tips about how to use social media as a way of growing your business or following a healthy lifestyle despite the horrible things that are currently going on in the world, but there is still more to tell as possibilities of social media are endless. And today we will be focusing on smart ways of managing your business through social media during the COVID-19 outbreak and what can help us stay connected to the world under the self-quarantine.

1. Stay in touch with your costumers.

Remind about your business to your costumers at least 3 times a week: share important information, updates or events that are going on in your company using email, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or other platforms. You can also include information about measures that your company is taking to make your services or products safe to gain people’s trust in you. Explain how your company will be dealing with the current situation, how much will your services be affected by it and how will you handle the challenges. You can also notify your costumers about any changes in your company’s working hours, for example, Facebook now allows you to select “Open With Service Changes” or “Temporary Closed” on your Facebook page.

    2. Create a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).

Because of the reason that people are now stuck at home, your company’s social media platforms might get overwhelmed by customers asking the same questions all over again daily. That’s when a FAQ comes in hand. Creating a FAQ means listing frequently asked questions by your customers and also providing answers to them. You can add it to your website or upload it on your social media. For example, this is how FAQ should look like:

Q: Are your products still available?

A: Yes, our products are still available and we are following every advice of the World Health Organization to keep our customers, as well as our employees safe.

      3. Host events online.

After the outbreak of COVID-19, all events had to be canceled and one of them could be an event that your company was planning to host. It might have been as important as maybe launching a new product or the demonstration of how your products work. Since we don’t know when all of this will end, postponing the launch for even more time could be damaging for its success.

Thankfully almost all social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc, provide a feature of live streaming, which means you could connect to your customers live, straight from your home and even do it jointly with your employees. This might sound like a hard thing to do, but you could easily demonstrate things live to your customers, without putting yours or their health under risk.

Additionally, by using this feature you could host live Q&A, which means answering questions that your customers ask at the moment, which could help your page gain more engagement.

        4. Stay updated about COVID-19.

As a business owner, currently, your main priority is to keep your employees and customers safe. Always check new information and updates about Coronavirus, look out for news from the World Health Organization and make sure that you are following every safety measure they are asking you to. By doing so, not only will your company be able to survive through these rough times, but you will also gain the trust of people and your customers would love to continue working with you in the future as well.

Tips that I have provided above will help you grow a strong business, that will be ready to face any challenges that life brings to it. Join social media now, there always be a solution to your problems and it makes everything seem much easier. Stay safe!
