2008-10-15 Tomorrow is heat day

I went over to the apartments last night to do a bit more work and start going through the startup checklist.  There is still a little bit of copper work to do.  I started to fill the one system with water so I could start the flushing procedure and we discovered there was a leak.  The pipes are 1 1/2 and the leak was on an elbow at the top of the system and wet copper pipes are not the easiest to fix.

 I scheduled the inspector to come in tomorrow morning to do the inspection so tomorrow is The Day!!!  Meter is getting installed and inspector is coming over and we'll have heat tomorrow evening!!!  Just in time for a cold front.
