A REI Newbie's Journey
OK. I guess I'm not a TOTAL REI newbie any more. I've been involved with real estate investing since March of 2017. I wish I would have started this blog then. But now is the SECOND best time. (The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is now.) I want to share my thoughts and experiences along our real estate investing journey. My hope would be that I can provide information and inspiration for other newbies and attract information and advice from veteran investors. Some of my initial topics will include a few of the REI vehicles that I have explored over the past two years, such as:
- Turnkey rentals
- Out of state or long distance investing
- Local REIA groups and networking
- Self directed IRAs
- Private capital (Both as a lender and a borrower)
- Gurus
- HGTV
- Robert Kiyosaki's Cashflow game
- The Infinite Banking Concept
- Podcasts
- Books
- Blogs
- Landlording
I will start in my next post with my origin story... how I got started. I hope to post at least weekly, maybe more. I welcome your comments and suggestions. Let's do this together. The journey is a lot more fun and profitable and hopefully a little easier with friends. Won't you please join me?

well I'm sure glad that I was able to come on to this website and find the area for a blog post. I was literally thinking about this just today and how I wanted to put my thoughts out there and the steps that I'm doing and taking to try to start my real estate investment Journey as I've only got a month into the learning part of this and still of course being brand new. I wouldn't mind following along with what your journey has done for you so far as I'm also going to try to post at least twice a week on what I'm doing or who I'm talking to or what I'm applying for in regards to the Adventure in seeking out the financial capital to start this first investment as it is coming up by the end of March and I hope to jump on it however of course there probably are other good deals out there this one happens to just be one that's personal and I already know the seller.
it is wonderful to see other people on here that happen investing or just now starting out and any and all support is of course greatly appreciated I absolutely love the book which I happen to have consumed through my ears the audio podcast Rich Dad Poor Dad has I have 10 hours of work that I commit to I have six hours to listen to it
